Pepsi Center Parking

Ball Arena (originally Pepsi Center) is home to the Denver Nuggets NBA team and Colorado Avalanche NHL team. The Colorado Mammoth, a professional lacrosse team, also calls this place home. The arena’s address, out in downtown Denver, is at 1000 Chopper Circle, Denver, CO 80204.

Here are the parking tips for your next event at Ball Arena.

Official Parking at the Stadium

There are numerous parking lots that surround Ball Arena for fans to use for a game or concert. The parking lots are all color coated, and they all run along 7th Street, 9th Street, 11th Street, and Speer Boulevard. Visit the Ball Arena official parking page to see the parking map. Parking rates may vary depending on the event you plan on attending.

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

I’ve been using SpotHero for years and find better parking rates than venues’ official lots. The main reason parking rates are cheaper is that they tend to be about a 10-minute walk (or less) to the venue, which is why they are more affordable. I use SpotHero because I’ve saved 30% (or more) on parking using it over the official lots, so I don’t mind walking if I can get a better deal. Plus, the unofficial parking near Ball Arena is in a densely populated area, so there are plenty of bars to visit before or after a game.

The only downside to using SpotHero is the walk. If your group wants to be directly at the venue, you should buy your parking at the official lots. Otherwise, if you are okay with walking for 10 minutes, I recommend booking something from SpotHero. Everything is expensive with going to a game, so if you can save on parking, you can spend that difference on food and drinks at the venue.

How to Book Parking on SpotHero Video

Here is a video of me going over how easy it is to book parking on SpotHero. In this video, I share how to search, how to book parking, and how to get the parking pass for your event on your phone. The whole process is a breeze, and it really only takes 1-2 minutes of your time.

Ball Arena Handicap Parking Spots

There are 99 ADA parking spaces available at the Camry, Rav4, and the Tundra Lots at the venue for fans to use. All vehicles need to display a current state-issue disability placard or license plate for parking. In addition to the placard and license plate, fans will need to present an official ADA parking pass too. Finally, you can address any ADA parking questions to the parking lot attendants at the venue.

Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?

can you tailgate at ball arena
Tailgating takes place in the Ball Arena parking lots before hockey and basketball games. The rules for parking lot tailgating are generous, but you can’t have any open fires in the parking lot spaces. In addition to tailgating in the parking lots, fans can venture into downtown Denver to the bars before and after a game. Some local bars include Brookyns, MCA Cafe and Bar, and Society Sports and Spirits.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

There are public transportation options for fans to use when going to the venue for any event. Multiple bus routes bring fans adjacent to the stadium throughout the city too. Fans can also use the Light Rail C Line from Littleton and E Line from the Lincoln Rail Station to get the hockey arena. Finally, fans can use Uber and Lyft to get to and from the venue for any event.
