Acrisure Stadium Parking

Acrisure Stadium (Previously Heinz Field) is the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL team and the Pittsburgh Panthers football team. The venue sits out on 100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 on the north shore of downtown Pittsburgh.

Here are the parking tips at Acrisure Stadium.

Parking Options Around the Stadium

Directly between the stadium and PNC Park is the Champions Parking Garage. Fans can reserve their parking in this garage using this link from ParkMoible.  Also, be sure to visit the official parking page of Acrisure Stadium for the most up to date information.

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

Regarding parking at stadiums or any place I travel to, I like to use SpotHero for a few reasons. First, the parking rates on SpotHero tend to be much cheaper than what you will find directly next to a stadium via their official lots. I’m ok with walking a bit to a stadium if I’m able to save money on parking. Second, the entire process of using SpotHero is easy to use. I use the app and service many times when I’m traveling, so being able to look at the parking rates around my destination and book a spot saves me time and money. Check out the listing above to see the stadium’s parking options.

There are handicap parking spaces for fans to use when parking at the venue. Fans will need to show a valid parking pass and state-issued license plate to leave their vehicle in these parking spaces. Please note that all accessible Steelers parking spaces come at a first-come and first-served basis, so plan to arrive early.

Is there Tailgating at Acrisure Stadium?

is there tailgating at heinz field

Tailgating opens up five hours before kick-off on the north shore parking lots at the venue. Tailgating is part of the fan experience in football, so fans arrive early and set up shop with their terrible towels and grills. Fans can’t have open flames in any of the parking spaces for tailgating though. Also, you can visit the Stage AE section for some fun tailgating activities to do with your friends and family.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

Fans looking to take public transportation on game day can search for the Port Authority Regular Bus Service. Many suburban and downtown routes will drop Steelers fans off at the venue at the nearby bus stops. There are also downtown shuttle services that bring fans to the site on game day. The Gateway Clipper shuttle brings fans across the river from Station Square to Heinz Field as well.

Also, fans can use a rideshare program to get to and from the stadium.
